I'm a bad girl. I kept on visiting Heirloom-knitting and knew that I wouldn't be able to resist buying....
So yesterday I got this .... Enough silk for a wedding ring shawl and the pattern. Totally wicked book and a free pattern for another shawl.
And when I've finished these Jaywalker socks....
And Lady Eleanor from some of my Colinette stash.....
I'm going to start to play properly... Yippee !!!

Jaywalker looks good. have you knitted many socks? I've had 2 failed attempts with what turned out to be 2 not so good patterns. Any advice for a good starter pattern that is tried and tested?
That Lady Eleanor looks fab. Is it a variagated? What is it?
