Stained Glass Day
Today I did something a bit different.. A taster stained glass day.
There were five of us, all novices and this is what we made.
Mine are the tree with the blue pot and the blue star.
It was a very fun way to spend a day, not only because it was free !!
The Angel, duck and dragonfly were amazing I was not so confident and played safe with my choice of patterns.
Now have I got time to start a new hobby ?

Lovely! They look beautiful, and it sounds like great fun!
Your stained glass is great! Several years ago my friend with MS decided she wanted to learn stained glass so we took classes. I don't do it very much now that she's gone but it's a fun hobby and every time I get new books I see knitting or quilting designs I can nab from the stained glass designs!
Gorgeous! As for a "new hobby", why not call everything you do "craft", the there are no problems incorporating new techniques....
Oooh, very pretty. What's wrong with a new hobby anyway?
LOL a woman after my own heart! I have lots of stained glass stuff and am making a small window at the moment. As well as all the fibre crafts it didn't stop me buying a load of stencilling stuff after seeing a demo...
It's not having enough time that's the problem - not how many hobbies you have! YOUR christmas tree will look beeotiful! Blue is the theme for this year?
