I'm ill

I have spend most of the last three days in bed asleep.
I have not had any coffee since Saturday afternoon.
And not a stitch has been knitted for 5 days (sorry Lucy)

It started with a cough, that went to a cold and then at some point on Sunday/Monday night developed into flu...

I think I'm getting better, I've been awake for nearly 4 hours and managed to eat and might be thinking of finding my knitting....

Are you too ill for jokes about how you should have had your 'proper' knickers on?

Get better soon!

My mother would have agreed with the comments about the knickers. If I got a cold as a child it was because I wasn't wearing thick knickers, vest and liberty bodice! The knickers reminded me of an old knitting book of my mother's that I have from the 40's. The green knickers were called American Panties in a very similar pattern in the book. Get well soon - can't miss out on knitting time!

Take care, Sue and feel better soon. No knitting must mean you've been really poorly....

Stay where you, are until you are completely better. Knitting should help, once you are over the worst! My mum is a bit better and I'm very relived.
